Redruth Thatching has been in bussiness for 32
years! (Est. 1979).
We have been involved in some of the largest and most complex thatching projects ever undertaken. On the domestic front we design and deliver an average of 1800m² of thatched structures every month, ranging from pool lapas to larger playrooms and thatch houses, lodges, & hotels! We have even been responsible for two large private airports: Kruger Mpumalanga (6000m²) as well as Pillansberg Airport (3000m²)
Redruth Thatching has an extensive knowledge base and do large scale timber decking and solid wood flooring as well (mostly exotic hardwoods).
As founder members of the SATAS (SA Thatchers Association) we are in dialogue with engineers and architects on an ongoing basis to make sure we comply to and and improve industry standards.
