PURUMA PRIDE, well known for majestic lions, is only 20km away from Viljoenskroon. Puruma Pride is a privately owned, non-subsidized lion farm, covering approximately 40ha. it is situated in the Viljoenskroon district, Free State near the Vredefort Dome Heritage site about 160 km west of Johannesburg. Our guests have a choice of a luxurious chalet or they can be trapped in a real African experience by staying overnight in a safari tent. Lion Tour [Sunday, September 18, 2011]

We welcome Day Visitors. The Farm is about 80km's from Klerksdorp, and 20 km's from Viljoenskroon, an easy Day Excursion. The farm is about 40 ha and the tour takes about 2 hours, where we view the lions and spend about an hour with the lion cubs. This is the highlight for child and adult alike and also a photopraphers dream to capture the most awesome up close photos.
