Skaware Computing CC trading as PC Direct was established in January 2007 as a Computer, and Electronic goods sales company offering a wide range of IT products direct to the consumer.
In 2009 we entered the online market and changed our business to be an online e-tailor. Migrating to the online environment has allowed us reach a much greater audience of customers based ALL over South Africa. If you have an internet connection, a phone and online banking - we can supply you with a host of electronic goods right to your doorstep. We still give the same service to our existing local base that know us, and have been buying from Skaware Computing since it's inception in 2007, however now our main focus has shifted to national sales of electronic goods.
We offer a vast range of top manufacturer products, giving you the customer a wider choice of products, all in one easy to use shopping website, with speedy deliver and easy payment methods.
We only stock high end brand name items giving the customer the widest and best quality choice of leading computer hardware. Our range includes, Dell, HP, LG, Samsung, Lenovo, Sony, Acer and Asus just to name a few.
We are a Computer Distribution and sales company based in Cape Town and function solely as an Internet based retailer. We do not hold any stock on site. We are a small staffed company with low overheads thus allowing us to pass on the costs that come with running a large office over as price savings to our customers.
We pride ourselves as being a niche online store only hosting certain high quality brand names.
We don't stock small peripherals and we mainly focus on larger goods like notebooks, desktops, printers, servers, projectors and the like .
Maintaining a website with small items such as mice and memory etc, is extrememly labour intensive and the ecommerce market already has a few big name players servicing that sector of the market to consumers. However should you be looking for those types of items, we do supply them - they just won't form part of our online catalog.
We're not here to re-invent the wheel, only to customise it :)
