Description about Outventure
Outventure is a non-profit adventure club, enjoying a wide range of adventures, whilst making it affordable.
The club sparked off in February 2005, when a mate moved from Cape Town and got fed-up with the Joburg crowd always being on their own mission and having excuses at the last minute when a lot of effort went into planning a great adventure.
After a lot of searching, all that came up were either clubs who repeat a single activity (e.g. hiking / biking / scuba) or event coordinating companies who do it for the money and where the average oke finds it too expensive to participate frequently.
Two mates then brainstormed and decided they want variety, without paying a lot for great adventures.
Soon it became evident that, by sharing travelling fees and accomodation costs, adventures can actually cost less in a group than doing it on your own. There are many young guys out there enjoying the adventurous life, who can also have more fun sharin
