NTI Background
The NTI is a company registered in terms of the Companies Act of 1973. The company is wholly owned by the North West Provincial Government and provides bus transportation services through its subsidiary company, North West Star (Pty) Ltd (“NWS”)in the Gauteng Province.
The NWS operations consist of two operating centres – Shared Services Centre and Head Office. The company operates a fleet of 639 buses and provides transports approximately 33 million passengers covering a distance of approximately 39 million kilometres per annum from 4 operating centres namely:
