From here you can experience the awesome Seweweeks Poort and the Seweweekspoort Peak which is the highest peak in the Klein Swartberg Range. Other peaks in the range include Towerkop being the most well known and most difficult to climb.
Ladismith is also the region producing the most and best apricots in South Africa. Plums, nectarines, peaches, grapes and wine and cheese are produced here.
