Description about Howick Africa

For over 30 years Howick has been manufacturing steel framing machines. The Howick FrameMachine has been specifically designed for Frame Manufacturers, to make their production as easy and efficient as possible. The Howick machine is computer controlled so it produces all the frame components with absolute precision and fully processes all the framing components ready for assembly. This not only allows Frames or Trusses to be manufactured with extreme precision but each part is dimpled and notched with the holes ready to accept fasteners so that components self-clip together with no clamping or drilling required. You can simply snap the studs together, add the screws and have a completed wall without needing a jig.

Howick Frame Machines are available complete with an open language (CSV) control system running on Windows XP. The layout and functionality of the software has been developed to be intuitive and easy to use and has its own integrated help file. The development of an open and simple text based language provides the Howick machinery with the unique ability to talk directly to any Cad software without any extra labour or compromises made by any intermediate software. With the machine taking the instruction code directly from the Cad software all walls, floors, roofs and trusses are made exactly as designed and engineered.
