Description about Hlumu Lodge

Hlumu Lodge is a mere 3km from the Badplaas Valley and sits on the foot of the Hlumuhlumu Mountains range. Hlumu Lodge has 12 wooden styled chalets that can accommodate from 2 to 5 people. All chalets are equipped with towels/linen, an en-suite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, free parking and a private verandah. Hlumu Lodge also has fully self catering units. Hlumu Lodge hosts two swimming pools, one hot and one cold, a restaurant, bar and driving range.

For the kids, Hlumu Lodge hosts a jungle gym and petting farm.

There are various trails for nature lovers at Hlumu Lodge. You will find bush buck, vervet monkey are common in the evenings and the aardwolf and various other wildlife are occasionally spotted on the property.

There are many fun activities in the area surrounding Hlumu Lodge.
The Badplaas warm bath and springs are only 3km drive.
The Badplaas Golf Club is 1.5km from the lodge.
The historic towns of Barberton and Crissismeer are a short drive.

Accommodation [Sunday, July 17, 2011]

Hlumu Lodge is situated on the foot of the spectacular HlumuHlumu mountain range. All chalets are wooden styled cabins with comfortable furnishings and en-suite bathrooms. The chalets can accommodate 2 up until 5 people.There are also fully self-catering chalets available. There are 12 chalets in total.

Hlumu Lodge hosts a bar with a cozy and inviting atmosphere! There is always a warm fire going in winter and with the pool table and dart board its an ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.There are always excellent specials on the drinks and all local beers are sold at R8.00.

There is also a large screen T.V for sport and entertainment.

Driving Range [Sunday, July 17, 2011]

Hlumu Lodge hosts a 300m driving range on the property. Its the perfect set up to practice your skills and have fun at the same time!All ages are welcome to join in and the fee is R40.00 for a bucket of 50 balls.
