Description about Green Cockroach Control
KILLROACH is a least toxic and 'green', child- and pet-safe way of addressing infestations of cockroaches, fish moths, fleas and small ants in the home. It does not contain any poisonous organophosphates or dichlorvos or pyrethroids. Do-It-Yourself KILLROACH is a white, odour- and colourless powder which amongst others contains microscopic silica (glass-like crystals) which results in cutting the mentioned insects exoskeletons resulting in their dehydration and death. It also contains a borate which upsets and destroys their digestive tract. Unlike ordinary pesticides and fumigation methods, Killroach does not loose its effectiveness over time and will also kill the hatchlings emerging from the egg-casings. These cockroach egg-casings (ootheca) are impenetrable by ordinary insecticides. Hatchlings will either be exposed to Killroach powder in their vicinity or they will consume the carcasses of for instance cockroaches which have succumbed to Killroach and who died in the 'nests', and in so doing also die. Killroach powder can be used inside electrical areas (switchboards, fridges, microwave ovens, beverage dispensing/vending machines etc) as it does not burn or explode. It can also be mixed with water and applied as per instructions; after evaporation, the residue will be as effective as the powder, this application ensures adhesion to walls etc.
NOTE: There is not a non-toxic matter in all of creation and everything is relative, thus the above reference to 'least-toxic' regarding KILLROACH – any claim to a substance being 'non-toxic' is a lie.
