Driving from Cape Town (Kaapstad) through small fishing and crayfish towns (Paternoster, Vredenburg, Velddrif, Laaiplek) just before Lamberts Bay (Lambertsbaai), a rather straight, flat, open road, healthy nature, a "surprise" one finds when you enter the other part of the west coast, enter Elandsbaai (Elandsbay, Elands Bay).

Elandsbay Backpackers is unique in his concept where people can meet in a nice peaceful environment between the Verlorenvlei en the mountains. Still undiscovered and in its own natural habitat, holidaymakers, nature lovers, hikers and surfers who look for something different and unpretentious, Elandsbaai adds a completely fresh, natural way of relaxation, easy and uncomplicated.
