Short course in Events Management. (29, 30 June & 1 July 2011)
This short course is designed to provide event organisers with an overview of the event management process. The course covers events in a variety of industries with relevant case studies and practical guidelines forming an integral part of the course.
The course covers the following topics:
- Orientation and introduction to event management
- Initiation and conceptualising the event
- Marketing the event
- Staging the event (project management and resource)
- Event evaluation and reporting
