Century Place B+B has been operating since 2002 and has successfully grown over the past seven years. We offer limited private accommodation. We cater for business people and visitors from out of town for one to four nights. We provide A GOOD BREAKFAST AND OTHER MEALS BY ARRANGEMENT. We are situated in the CBD area and are close to the Private Hospital which is ideal for those who stay over while loved one are in the hospital. We have less than ten rooms which means that we provide personal service and a quiet and peaceful environment. We are close to all main shoppings facilities and sport facilities. WE ARE ALSO CLOSE TO THE BATTLEFIELDS AND OTHER INTERSTING TOURIST DESTINATIONS LIKE THE DRAKENSBERG AND BIRD WATCHING PLACES NEAR MEMEL.

Tour guide [Friday, October 30, 2009]

As an additional service we can arrange a tour guide to some of the local sights. Guests can use own transport or we can arrange to hire a vehicle. Just contact us on 034-3155-929 for more details.
Day trips to sights within 100km to 200km. We are close to some of the famous anglo boer war battlefields and the famous Battle of Blood river where the boers fought the mighty Zulu army.
You may wish to take a trip into the drakensberg and do a day visit to some of the wonderful sights into the berg.

KZNCB Kwa Zulu Natal Country Bowls Development and coaching services. Anyone wishing to find out more about bowls development and bowls coaching can contact Trevor Smale registered club coach of the Newcastle Bowling Club. Anyone can take up bowling and enjoy the fun and fellowship of this great game.
KZNCB Development and coaching can assist beginners by providing all size of bowls for testing before purchasing your own set. You can hire a set of four bowls from as little as R20 per day, conditions apply.
Coaching can be arranged free of charge however the coaches travel and accommodation cost should be covered where necessary. Costs for any admin material, copies of info and coaches books and guides will need to be paid.
After a few coaching sessions you can apply for an assessment to determine your skills level. Your club coach will assist you.

CENTURY PLACE B+B is an historical home built in 1923 by the late Mr. O' Riley. It is situated in the CBD at the west end of Paterson Street, just off the corner of Bird Street. It is within walking distance to the new Private Hospital just up Jordaan Street.
The small but comfortable establishment is registered with the Zulu Kingdom and Tourismnewcastle.
The B+B is owned by Trevor Smale and managed by his partner Mrs. Ina Vorster.
