The most important changes we would like to draw your attention to are:
Loss of income is restricted to a maximum of R160,000 per year
Hospital costs are reduced to public hospital rates
Common law right to sue the guilty party is restricted Limitation of R25,000 that is applicable to passengers have been removed
Only serious injuries will be considered by the Road Accident Fund
