Cape Crating is South Africans leading crating company which provides logistic, manufacturing and rigging companies with their services. Offsite or onsite, we make top quality crates for anything, from machinery to fine-art. Besides that we offer a broad range of other logistic services: wrapping & packing, container loading, hazardous packing & documentation, transport, rigging, heat shrinking (yachts and other large cargo), lashing and securing of cargo.

The company has two branches at two major logistic points: one in Paardeneiland, near the port and one at Cape Town International Airport.

Our experience combined with knowledgeable employees ensures that even the biggest, heaviest pieces of equipment are prepared for shipping. All the timber we use meet ISPM-15 treatment requirements.Examples of crate styles we provide: solid crates, slatted crates, heavy duty crates, palletizing of cargo, trade show crates, re usable crates.

For transport of your goods, Cape Crating has its own fleet of 11 trucks in different sizes that will collect your cargo from you or your manufacturer. After that, we deliver your packed cargo to depot for export.
