OPERATIONS   Our guards reports on duty at 16h30. At this time an “on shift parade” is held by management where guards are inspected to ensure that they are dressed and equipped according to Company standards and client requirements.   Our guards are always dressed in our unique and neat uniform, combat or step-outs. They are clearly visible and identifiable with our Company’s shoulder flashers and ID cards.   From here they are delivered at their place of work by Company transport. The shift change is always completed by 18h30 or 06h30.

ROUTINE VISITS AND INSPECTIONS   Our guards are visited on a regular and un-announced basis. The visiting Inspector parks his vehicle outside the premises and visits each guard at his place of work. Any irregularities or non conformance are reported immediately to our member on duty in the 24 hour Control Room, who in turn, will if the matter needs immediate attention report to the Operations Manager. During such visits on shift training are performed as well.

CODE OF CONDUCT   The Company has a strict Code of Conduct, tailor made for the Security Industry by Labor Law professionals. We act against any offenders; however we see dismissal as the last resort. This will be done on a disciplinary hearing in extreme cases like gross negligence, sleeping on duty, deserting place of work, etc.

COMMUNICATION   All guards are equipped with two way radios. We have an excellent network, using the repeater of T & B Solutions. Guards must report to the Control Room on the half an hour. If a situation report is not given through by a guard on such time, an inspector is end out immediately to investigate the situation.

VEHICLES   All our vehicles are in very good operational condition. We have designated vehicles for certain areas to ensure quick response to any incidents or emergencies. We have at any given time ten vehicles and two quad bikes on the road in town. Although the designated inspector is normally first on the scene we do not let inspectors handle client complaints or incidents. The site will always be visited by a member of management to attend to the matter.

MANAGEMENT AVAILABILITY   All members of management are available to our clients on a 24 hour basis. Even after normal business hours their phones are never off. If a specific manager goes on leave or are not available for one or the other reason, the client will be informed who the manager will be for that time. But we always work as a team, so you will normally find that more than one manager will arrive on the scene of an incident.

24 HOUR CONTROL ROOM   Our guards are monitored by our 24 Hour Control Room via radio and live tracking devices. (Live tracking are currently disabled). Guards have to do situation reports via radio on the half an hour. Incidents or emergencies have to be reported immediately which will receive immediate attention.

MAGTOUCH GUARD PATROL SYSTEM   Because our guards are monitored by our 24 Hour Control Room via live tracking we only use the magtouch patrol system to steer the guards to certain areas of risk or importance.   These reports are downloaded on a daily basis and are available to clients at any time, on request. We use this reports to control, train or reprimand guards. We use a map of the premises to work out different routes of patrol so that guards do not patrol the same routes all the time.

INVESTIGATIONS   We have our own internal investigation team for any security related incidents, free to our clients.  The Manager of our team is a former SAPD CID member with 10 years service. Our investigation team is available for any other investigations at market related rates.

GENERAL   It has to be noted that a guard is deterrent and not a guarantee that crime will not take place. What we can guarantee is that all incidents will receive immediate attention and where necessary our Investigation Team will be called in.   We do not hide any facts from our clients and our investigation always starts with the guard. We also use polygraph test in our investigations. All investigations, should it be non conformance by one of our personnel or serious crime will be followed by a detailed report, stating all facts, solutions or proposals.   We can guarantee you professional and personal service at all times. We’re always there.   We live in a country where crime is out of hand and any report or information by any person involved is much appreciated so that we can practice good security as a team.   We have a very good relationship with the SAPD and because of the nature of our Investigations Team’s work; in cases of emergencies we contact the commanders of the specialized units directly.
We hope that you will make use of our security services to keep your premises safe and secure.   Regards,   THE CENSOR TEAM
