Welcome to Bientang's Cave - the best shore based whale watching restaurant in South Africa, based in Hermanus in the Western Cape.
Bientang's Cave is set in an historical cave on the rocks in the center of Hermanus town where whales can be seen frolicking alongside the rocks from the restaurant. A seafood restaurant serving only the best calamari, prawns, oysters and fresh line fish daily. Healthy portions and excellent service compliment the fantastic view.
With the majority of seating outside on the deck and on the rocks, this award winning restaurant offers spectacular views, distinctive wines of the region and, if you're not into fish, vegetarian and truly African alternatives.
Open daily for Breakfast and Lunches from 9.30 am until 4pm and Dinners for functions for groups over 35 guests.
We cater for Tour Groups for both lunches and dinners and for Private Celebrations, Corporate Events, Charity events and Product Launches in the evenings.
