Resin Floor Design was established in 2009 primarily to assist architects, project managers and flooring chemical manufacturers in the correct specification of protective finishes for concrete floors. This service expanded to include corrosion protection systems. The company however did not have any in-house application teams and thus the approved specifications were installed by various different contracting companies.
In 2011 Resin Floor Design was acquired from the founding member, Ms Fiona Barry by Mr Gavin Hill who has eleven years of experience in the industrial, resin based flooring industry, and has managed two previous contracting concerns.
Resin Floor Design, based in Honeydew Gauteng now has four full time contracting teams, each of which has a dedicated team leader. All staff has an extensive collective knowledge of the industry and operates as a cohesive unit, having joined Resin Floor Design as a complete business unit from a previous contracting company managed by Gavin Hill.
