Cost is from R 120.00 per lesson. Lesson duration is from 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Beginners welcome.
We also run an instrument rental program, at a cost of R 185.00 per month for either a violin or cello, (full outfit, including a bow etc).

Formed in March 2003, the Duo Élan is entering its eigth year, presenting beautiful classical as well as popular wedding music for violin and cello. Raphael and Adriana have played at a wide range of popular venues and perform stylish ceremonial and background music for weddings, receptions, birthdays, corporate functions, product launches and special occasions.
We offer a choice of two main combinations, either as Duo Élan (violin and cello), or as Trio Élan (violin, cello and piano / digital piano, or violin, viola and cello). Other combinations and instruments are available on request. Whichever combination, from our extensive list of repertoire and wedding music, we will create the perfect atmosphere for your function.
When playing as a piano trio, our adaptable digital piano provides the rich sound of a Steinway grand piano, therefore you can enjoy the Élan Ensemble anywhere. Alternatively, we will bring to life the piano at your venue. Playing as a violin and cello duo, we can play either as an 'unplugged' duo, or we can combine our playing with a vast range of professionally recorded backing tracks, covering a very broad spectrum of genres. These backing tracks are recorded with the same instrumentation as those of the original singers / artists. Our professional sound system is of a very high accoustic quality, and visually elegant, blending with any atmosphere to remain in the background. Visually we retain our authenticity as string players.
